Why ExcellentLife?

ExcellentLife believes that everyone has the right to good health and happiness at work, the opportunity to be healthy and happy. ExcellentLife wants to enable everyone to experience this for themselves by means of the app and its own methodology. It is important that this is easy, fast and easily accessible for everyone, wherever and whoever wants to use it.

The underlying idea is to teach people how to make and keep themselves healthy and happy.

Why use the ExcellentLife platform?

The ExcellentLife platform has tools that employees can use themselves to better deal with and recover from problems and obstacles. It can be explained how different aspects have an impact on our capacity and the way in which we can take care of our body and mind. In this way, employees can distribute their energy more effectively to get more done. 

In other words, "Get better at feeling good!"

What's unique about the ExcellentLife platform?

The unique thing about the ExcellentLife platform is that it is a database for all kinds of complaints (mental and physical) that can be consulted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, while at the same time, when necessary, a (healthcare) professional can be contacted or an on-platform referral to the next level in E-health. In this way, ExcellentLife provides an accessible, user-friendly and inexpensive solution for a complete E-Health line that completely helps you as a user.

What happens to the personal data?
  • We do not store personal data for longer than is legally permitted and necessary for the purposes for which we collected your data.
  • Personal data is only processed for the purpose for which the data was collected.
  • The company (licensee) receives feedback at organizational or departmental level. This feedback only contains anonymized results. A research group must consist of at least 15 people, so that the results cannot be traced back to an individual. Providing feedback at organizational or departmental level is intended to provide the employer with valuable information to facilitate its employees even better in preventing and solving problems. Again, completely anonymous and with a 100% privacy guarantee.
  • Data can be requested at any time or a request can be made to delete your data.
Do solutions offered via a platform actually work?

Of course! Due to the measurable results and personal experiences of users, ExcellentLife can answer this with a resounding "YES". In addition, there is a lot of scientific research that proves this time and again. There are many more, but below are some of these studies:

How long and how often can I use the platform?

How long you can use the platform depends on the license duration that your employer has subscribed to. However, when the platform is in use, it is available 24/7 and mental and physical solutions within the platform can be used immediately at any time. It is also possible to call in a professional at any time if the app is not sufficient for the complaint or problem.

What are the cost of the ExcellentLife platform?

At the moment the ExcellentLife platform is only available for employees and not (yet) for private customers. This means that you are given the opportunity by your employer to use the ExellentLife platform.

Can anyone gain insight into my app usage?

We never provide insights into the use of the app to third parties, unless you give explicit permission for this. Other personal data is only accessible to employees who need it for our business operations.

How is my privacy guaranteed?

It goes without saying that ExcellentLife takes privacy very seriously and complies with all guidelines suffered within the framework of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). ExcellentLife's privacy statement states how you can exercise your privacy rights. We advise you to read the privacy statement carefully.

Who can view my personal data?

Your personal data will only be shared with third parties insofar as this is necessary for the execution of an agreement in which you are involved or on the basis of a legal obligation. ExcellentLife has concluded processing agreements with third parties that process your personal data – including the app developer or the automation company – in which agreements have been made about confidentiality.

When the personal data is shared with third parties (other than mentioned above), explicit permission will be requested.

The security of the ExcellentLife platform

Our systems and processes are secured to prevent data from being used for purposes other than those for which it is intended.

ExcellentLife focuses on the reliability and safety of its solutions. Independent experts therefore annually assess the quality of the software hosted at data centers that meet the high standards set by ExcellentLife. In this way, the customer is assured of high availability and optimum performance. At the same time, the data in the cloud is covered by ISO27001, 27017, 27018 and 9001 certifications.

I forgot my password

If you have forgotten your password and can no longer log in to the ExcellentLife platform or app, it is possible to set a new password. You can do this by opening the ExcellentLife app and pressing "forgot password" in the login screen under the login button.

By pressing this button you will arrive at the "forgot password" screen. Enter your e-mail address here and press the "request" button. Then follow the instructions in the email you receive at the email address you entered to reset your password.

How do I turn on notifications for the app?

If you do not receive notifications from the ExcellentLife platform/app, it is possible that:

1. No program/workouts have been set. You can adjust this by pressing the "Personal profile" button (small figure at the top right) when you are logged in to the app. After that, scroll down to the "My program" button. Now press the settings button (gear-icon on the top right). Then turn on the Notifications button (swipe to the right).

2. If you have selected "My exercises" in the previous menu and you have not added any exercises to your own profile, you will not receive any notifications. Add exercises to your own profile or use this menu and switch the button to "Preventive program" (swipe button to the left) to receive notifications.

3.If you still do not receive notifications after performing the above actions, you may need to authorize the ExcellentLife app to send a notification on your phone. You do this by:

1. Go to settings on your phone

2. Click the apps button (Android) or if you have IOS as your operating system, go to step 3.

3.Scroll down and select the ExcellentLife app.

4. Scroll down again and press the button "Notifications" (Android) / "Notifications" (IOS)

5. Turn the button here so that notifications/notifications are on (swipe to the right).
